A young Ohio woman faced charges after burying her newborn in the backyard of her family’s home. Prosecutors painted a disturbing picture of a teen who wanted nothing to do with her baby and cared only about appearances. They alleged she killed the newborn after giving birth in the middle of the night two years ago. Richardson was found not guilty of aggravated murder, involuntary manslaughter, and child endangerment in September. She was found guilty of abuse of a corpse by the jury.
